Εικόνες βιβλίου, σχήματα γραμμάτων και βιβλίου, φωτογραφίες συγγραφέων και βιβλιοθηκών, πίνακες της τέχνης και της ανάγνωσης, εικαστικά του πνευματικού κόσμου δημιουργούν ένα συνεκτικό και ενιαίο στερέωμα όπου όλα περιστρέφονται γύρω από την παράσταση του βιβλίου. Γιατί βιβλίο δεν είναι μόνο το περιεχόμενό του, δεν είναι μόνο το σύμπαν των εννοιών του και των συμβολισμών του, είναι και η συνάντησή του με την τέχνη, η μίξη του με τη ζωγραφική και με την απεικόνιση.
Όλες οι εποχές του διαφωτισμού και των γραμμάτων χάιδεψαν το βιβλίο, γεννήθηκαν από το βιβλίο, λάτρεψαν την εικόνα του, στοχάστηκαν στα σχήματά του, γέννησαν τον Homo Universalis, το φως τους είναι φως των βιβλίων. Έγινε το βιβλίο τόπος έμπνευσης (πηγή έμπνευσης και παράγωγο έμπνευσης) και εξαϋλώθηκε για δεύτερη φορά, πέραν της πνευματικής εξαΰλωσης που έχει ήδη γίνει πριν το βιβλίο πάρει το σχήμα του μέσα από τα νοήματα του περιεχομένου. Εξαϋλώθηκε με μια νέα πνοή για να κατακτήσει και τον χώρο της τέχνης πέραν εκείνου των γραμμάτων, για να βιώσει την αρτιότητα της ανθρώπινης αναζήτησης, για να γευθεί την εκρηκτικότητα της ανθρώπινης ανησυχίας.
Η τέχνη θα υπερβεί τις υλικές δεσμεύσεις και θα απελευθερωθεί για να κάνει πραγματικότητα τη φαντασίωση. Πώς αλλάζει η εικόνα ενός παιδιού όταν διαβάζει και πώς ξανα-αλλάζει όταν το χέρι του ζωγράφου δώσει ζωή στον καμβά με την εικόνα αυτή; Πώς η εικόνα μιας κοπέλας που διαβάζει αποκτά άλλες άγνωστες διαστάσεις όταν αναδύεται μέσα από τον πίνακα της ζωγραφικής; Τι ακριβώς γίνεται όταν σμίγουν οι υδρορροές του βιβλίου και της τέχνης, σε ποια από τα δύο ρεύματα κάθεται ο καλλιτέχνης, προς τα πού πάνε τα ανακατωμένα νερά τους και πού τελικά εκβάλλουν;
Πηγή ανεξάντλητης έμπνευσης το όλο σύμπαν του βιβλίου. Οι συγγραφείς εκφράζουν στο βλέμμα τους την αιωνιότητά του πνεύματός των. Οι βιβλιοθήκες αναδύουν πνευματική μεγαλοπρέπεια και καλούν τους πιστούς στην πιο προσωπική μυσταγωγία που μπορεί να νιώσει η ανθρώπινη σκέψη. Οι πίνακες των βιβλίων παραπέμπουν με τον πιο άρρητο τρόπο ταυτόχρονα στο πνεύμα και στην τέχνη. Οι αναγνώστες είναι παντού σ’ όλες αυτές τις παραστάσεις κάπου έξω από το «κάδρο», αλλά χωρίς αυτούς καμιά εικόνα, καμιά παράσταση δεν έχει νόημα. Όλα υπάρχουν για τους αναγνώστες, για τις ιερές στιγμές του διαβάσματος, για την πνευματική επικοινωνία, για την προαγωγή της ελευθερίας της σκέψης. Όλα ανήκουν στο Σύμπαν του βιβλίου, των γραμμάτων και της τέχνης. Όλα ανήκουν στην ανθρώπινη σκέψη, στην ιστορία του ανθρώπου, στην αναζήτηση του πνεύματός μας!
